February 2008 - where has time gone ?
Life here has been frantic. New catalogues, new products, new website, new online catalogue, new staff.
Jessie Kemp joined us a few weeks back to assist with Sales & administration and we welcome her. We hope to finally have the website and online catalogue up and running in the next 3 or 4 weeks. This has been a huge task and not without its problems !

Impamark are very pleased to announce that they have been selected as finalists in the Essex County Business Awards 2007 - Business 2 Business category. We will found out if we have been successful at winning the category at a black tie awards dinner and dance at the Cliffs Pavilion Westcliff on Friday 11th May.
Impamark have recently exhibited at the NACO (National Association of Civic Officers) Conference and AGM at City Hall, Bradford. There were about 120 delegates, and Impamark was one of 7 hand picked suppliers chosen to exhibit at this annual event.
As Impamark specialise in supplying civic merchandise to councils for town twinnings, receptions, and award ceremonies, Impamark is very pleased to continue to support the association in this way and wishes NACO the best of luck for 2007.

A very Happy New Year to everyone. We hope you all had a great festive season. Our new 2007 catalogue is available and we are busy getting this out to you.
We are working on our new website which we hope will go live in the following months. More details on this later.
Nicky will be visiting Scotland From Monday 19th to Wednesday 21st Feb inclusive. Please contact us if you would like her to visit you.

In the meantime, we are working on the 2007 catalogue and an updated website with the product fully integrated into the site

Too much to say !
David and Anne had a great send off for their retirement.
Carol Kean is now running the ship in the office. She has settled into her role and is having a great time. She is your main point of contact for sales enquiries.
Nicky Crisp in her new role as Managing Director is really pushing the business forward. We moved premises at the beginning of September. That was quite hard work, as I am sure you can imagine, but we are now comfortably esconced in our colour co-ordinated offices. The girls seem happy with it anyway !
Today, Friday 13th (only Nicky would try this !) is our Offical Opening. We are lucky to have the presence of our local M.P. John Whittingdale, along with a host of other dignitaries, numerous suppliers, customers and friends.
We have also updated our catalogue with a wide range of new and exciting products. Please call us if you would like one sent to you. As if that wasn't enough, we are currently in the process of sorting out a brand new website - further details in due course.

Loads of new happenings here at Impamark
First and foremost is the news that after 35 years running the business, David and Anne Thurgood are retiring. Daughter Nicky will be taking over the reins having worked with David and Anne for 18 years.
We wish them both a long and happy retirement. David, may your cucumbers grow ever bigger !
We also welcome back Carol Kean. Carol has worked for Impamark before and has returned as the new sales and administration manager. Welcome back Carol.
As if that wasn't enough, we are moving ! Not far - about 1 mile from our current premises. Currently a building site, we are hoping that the work will be ready for a moving date at the beginning of September. More news on this to follow.
02/05/06 Latest News : Busy, busy, busy -
We think that we have finally caught up with all the enquiries from the exhibition ! Our apologies if you had a bit of a wait. We did try and get to you all as quickly as we could, if only with a call to say we hadn't forgotten you.
Thankfully, summer seems to have finally arrived. Time to 'Slip, Slop, Slap' as the Australians say. Slip on a shirt, slop on the suntan cream and slap on a hat. Well, we can do the shirts and the hats. And what about some shades as well ?

28th March - We had a great response at the Promotional Marketing Exhibition. The attendance was good with a steady stream of people.
We were visited by a wide variety of customers which goes to show just how versatile we can be.
We look forward to attending next year.

15th March - We have had two shows, the Essex Registration Service and the Council Officers.
These were well attended and Impamark met both existing and new customers
We are now looking forward to the Promotional Marketing Exhibition at the Barbican Exhibition Centre in London.
8th March - We are attending the one day exhibition organised by Essex Registration Service.
The all day event is centred around the 90 approved wedding venues in Essex, and will be held at Furze Hill Banqueting Suite on the outskirts of Chelmsford.
The role of the day is to raise the profile of weddings in Essex and a theme of 'Celebrate in Essex' has been created to reflect the future branding of the service and the broadening range of services now offered.
The event will include sessions on service structure, changing legislation e.g. introduction of civil partnerships, roles and responsibilities of venues, citizenship ceremonies, other celebratory services etc.
Particular emphasis will be given to marketing. We very much see this as a regular networking event where venues can improve their marketability by sharing ideas and possibly utilising the services associated companies can offer.
We expect in the region of 200 attendees, including many venue owners/managers and the seminar room will provide the opportunity to accommodate up to a dozen exhibitors. Ample refreshment breaks and lunch will be included in order to allow time for venue representatives to meet and discuss their ideas and needs with exhibitors. Delegate packs will include company literature for all exhibitors.
Impamark are sponsoring the delegate packs with some branded corporate giveaways so come and grab some !
Impamark have also recently supplied all the gifts for the Essex County Council Citizenship Department.
9th March - Impamark is one of four exhibitors at the National Association of Civic Officer's Conference and AGM at the Guildhall in Coventry.

Impamark have now joined the British Promotional Merchandise Association - BPMA for short. This is the leading trade association representing suppliers of promotional merchandise and services. Member companies are manufacturers or distributors who must adhere to a strict code of conduct, ensuring that they act professionally, honestly and fairly at all times
